Navigating placement services can feel difficult, emotional, and even a little overwhelming, but you don’t have to go through it alone. At Suncoast Homecare Professionals, we’re here to guide you through the senior care options in the greater Sarasota & Bradenton area.
Rather than dealing with a nationwide company, you’ll work directly with the owner and Sarasota area local, John Mack. By asking you a few simple questions, he will get a feel for your current needs and be able to recommend appropriate Independent, Assisted, or Memory Care Communities for your consideration.
Our mission is to help you confidently find the best option for your new home. We are committed to providing you or your loved one with all the information, guidance, and advice you need to find your new home. Once we get a sense of who you are and what you want, we physically tour facilities with you until you are comfortable with your decision.
- Instead of simply telling you the names of different communities around Sarasota & Bradenton, John will accompany you on the tour, making note of your preferences.
- He will be able to recommend complementary services in the area that you may need, such as realtors, attorneys, moving companies, etc.
- He will also help point out what you may like or dislike, and keep track of pros and cons!

Choose the Best Option for You or Your Loved Ones
Independent Living
These communities provide an array of services like meals, snacks, entertainment, activities and transportation. Fifty-Five and older communities are included in this group. It is important to note that since Independent Living communities do no offer personal care services, they do not employ nurses or CNAs to provide care.
Assisted Living
A step up from Independent Living communities, Assisted Living facilities provide personal care and medication management in addition to the suite of amenities provided by Independent Living communities. They may also have a Memory Care wing.
Memory Care
A specialized Assisted Living Community for our loved ones diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and other similar maladies.
Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC's)
CCRC’s Include options for Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and sometimes Skilled Nursing services on the same campus. This ensures that as your care needs change, you’ll always be at the same location, within the same community to age-in-place comfortably.
How Does it Work?
1. Get In Touch: John will meet with you to discuss the type of place you are looking for, including your preferred proximity to family and your specific likes and dislikes. Additionally, he can provide transportation to and from your appointments or meet you there directly.
2. Goal & Expectation Setting: John will act as a liaison between you and the prospective communites, taking the pressure off of you and yoru family during this challenging time.
3. Touring Communities: John will make the tour appointments for you based on your availability.
4. Closing: John will assist you in choosing the best place base don your lifestyle, care needs and budget
