John Mack
CEO & Founder
I am deeply dedicated to providing compassionate care, tailored to support the individual needs of each client. Throughout my career, I have always remained focused on the needs of the clients I serves. After a twenty-year career in the financial sector, I felt called to address the unmet need for dignified relationships between clients and caregivers in the senior care industry.
My mission is to create a home agency care that delivers on its promise to provide the same level of care we all want for our loved ones.
When I’m not supporting clients or mentoring my team, you can find me enjoying all the amenities the Suncoast offers, as well as volunteering with outreach programs in the Sarasota-Bradenton area.
In 2024, I joined the Board of Directors for two organizations that provide affordable housing for the elderly in Sarasota, Casa Santa Marta 1 and Casa Santa Marta 2.
Gwendolyn Tift

As a nurse, I am a compassionate, dedicated professional who believes that every client deserves exceptional care. I am a hardworking individual who takes pride in getting things done while always putting my clients’ needs first. No matter the situation, my priority is ensuring that each client receives the highest quality care with dignity, respect, and compassion.
With more than 40 years of experience in the caregiving profession, I have found my life’s purpose in caring for others. It is truly a privilege to support my clients and provide comfort, guidance, and reassurance to their families. When your loved one is in my care, you can have peace of mind knowing they are being treated like family.
I am a people person who enjoys working alongside others and building strong, supportive teams. As a leader, I never ask my nurses, CNAs, HHAs, or companions to do anything that I would not do myself. I believe honesty, integrity, accountability, and compassion are the foundation of outstanding client care.
I encourage every member of my team to perform to the best of their abilities, while treating each client with kindness, patience, and respect. As a manager and supervisor, I take the time to ensure that care is delivered safely, professionally, and according to the highest standards. My goal is to ensure every client and family is confident they are receiving dependable, personalized care from a team that truly cares.
Outside of my professional life, I am a family-oriented woman who enjoys spending time with my loved ones, serving in my church, giving back to my community, and traveling whenever I have the opportunity. Thank you for trusting us with your loved ones’ care.

We can do this because many of our competitors are franchises that pay 6-8 percent of their revenue to a franchisor. Suncoast Homecare Professionals uses that money to pay our caregivers better.
